Disney Songs, School and the PTF
Well we've lived through the first orientation. Actually we did quite well in my opinion, we just had almost all the parents back out on us at the last minute. Now, I can finally relax a bit after a rather stress full week -.- sorta. Next week's Saturday we have the second orientation and there's still a lot to do since we want to improve quite a bit.
I also have to some how squish all the school work I didn't get done last week into this week . >.<>.<. I should probably get a tutor or something... not that I'm bad at math. I'm just not good. -.- And lets face it no matter how high a score you have in the other section of a test, scoring bad in math really brings you down. I'll talk to my mom about it later...
At least my grades have been good for the last three years. =D I was worried that after entering high school, my grades would slip a bit. But it looks like I was worried for nothing. The only "low" score I've gotten is a B- in the first term for Algebra -.- but I was able to bring it up to a A- in the second term. But that was two years ago almost three now. So long as I can keep my grades up I should be ok.
In case my Singaporean friends are wondering why the grades are so important it's because my test scores and my academic records are both needed for me to get into a good Uni. They want to see that I have the capability to maintain a high standard of working so they look at the grades you've gotten the last 4 years of your schooling. Then the test score is to see how I absorbed the material and also to test my critical thinking and writing skills. Yup. -.- No slacking.
Er in case your wondering about the Disney song part... -.- I have a weakness. Sometimes I listen to Disney songs.
