my second post of the day
OOh joy!! More visitors to my blog!! Btw.. I now know what tagging is. =D Thanks Bel for clearing up my confusion.
Any who today was the first PTF lesson. -.- It was tiering but everything went fine. =) All the hard work seems to have paid off. Hopefully next weeks ... no wait the lesson 2 weeks from todays will go even better. -.- and well hopefully find a way to.. tame the more rowdy kids.
Anyways.. before I forget I might as well talk about the time I "ran away from home" with out knowing I was running away. When I was younger my best friend was named Vicky.(no not the SBM Vicky)another Vicky.. a girl named Vicky. Anyways one day my mom took me over to Vicky's house for a play date... Vicky lived out in the middle of no where. I kid you not. There was only around 4 houses where she lived and some woods.
Anyways Vicky and I played with her babies, ran around her house playing hide and seek, and eventually got bored. That was when Vicky got a great idea. Apparently her neighbor (an older guy)had a drum set. -.- At 6 I had never been close to a drum set.. I'm not even sure I knew what a drum set was ... but 0_0 man did it sound like fun. So me and Vicky decided to skip on out of the house while your moms' backs were turned and make a little trip to her neighbors. Our plan was to go over.. play with the drums and then head back before our moms caught onto a thing.
We walked down the long rode ( this was the middle of no where remember) to her neighbors house and rang the door bell. The man didn't seem surprised to see us like most people would be if two 6 year old girls arrived at their door and demanded to be let in so they could play on their drums. Instead he ushured us in and into the room where the drum set was. It was green... thats all I remember. And at the time it seemed MASSIVE. Me and Vicky began banging away unaware how much panic we were going to singled handedly cause in just a few minutes.
Maybe 30 min after Vicky and I left the house, our moms finally realized we'd left. -.- Frantic they went outside and started calling in the yard for us, never suspecting that we'd have wondered off so far as the neighbors house. It didn't take them long to asses that we were not in the house or yard. Luckily, by this time me and Vicky had become aware that we'd been done for too long and that soon we'd be missed. My memory of this next part isn't very clear... I can't remember if our mom's started to go to all the houses to ask for us.. or if we wondered home by our selves. What I do know is that we were in a lot of trouble when we were found about an hour after our disappearance.
We both got a talk about how we can't go to strangers houses, especially strange men's houses because some strange men like children to much. Of course back then me and Vicky had no idea what they meant by "like children to much". We were both however very disappointed that our plan didn't work as perfectly as we had planned and we were caught.
