Motivation Has Returned!!
Motivation of some sorts has returned!! And I feel like blogging ... sorta. My motivation levels are only at 30 percent right now =.= and to fully blog blog blog like there no tomorrow you need motivation levels of at least 60 percent.
The inactivity level of my blog is to depressing however, so I'm putting fingers to keyboard and tapping out something! Even low motivation levels aren't going to keep me down this time! My subject today is.....cooking!! Well more accurately baking ... because if its not sweet -.- I probably can't manage to make it. ( It's a mental thing)
Currently all of the things I'm making seem to have lots and lots of chocolate in them. D : Chocolate pudding...chocolate cake....chocolate cookies... if it's got chocolate I've made it/planned to make it/or tried to make it. OH I know!! I'll share with you guys my chocolate pudding recipe!! I'll put it at the end =.= I don't want to get up to get the recipe only to come back unmotivated to start blogging again.
My recipe book is super messy ... its just stuff I've printed off the internet or written by hand from some place or another. And then shoved into what ever space I can find. o__o My next venture I think...will be a white chocolate and raspberry cheese cake! Sounds pretty good right??? -.- The only problem is that....1. I'm pretty sure that cake is loaded with calories... a LOT of calories.. the main ingredients seem to be cheese and chocolate and 2. my biggest fans (Iida, Oscar, and Jan) don't like cheese cake. :c So before I make an entire cheesecake I need to find people to eat it.
OK heres the chocolate pudding recipe : D
Chocolate Pudding
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 3/4 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ok first off get yourself a saucepan and put the sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt into it. Mix them together. Stir in the milk and then place the saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring the mixture to a boil STIRRING CONSTANTLY. Thats really important. Otherwise the milk will burn and you'll have a inedible mess. Keep stirring the mix until it gets thick enough to coat the back of a metal spoon.
- Remove the hot pudding from the heat and stir in the butter and vanilla. Then let the pudding cool briefly.
- Now you can opt to serve it warm (some people like their pudding hot) or put it into individual dishes and chill them in the fridge for a while.
Its important to note that if you put the pudding into the fridge right after you've made it...the heat will probably cause the temp in your fridge to go up resulting in your food not being kept at a cold enough temperature. : D ... same goes for if you put it in the freezer. The food will unfreeze and then refreeze which isn't really good.
Also make sure you don't use up all the milk in the house =.= It does not make you very popular with your mommy <-- speaking from personal experience.
